This document outlines our approach to compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and all other relevant data protection legislation. It also sets forth your privacy rights. Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with our personal data processing practices.
We would like to inform you that your personal data is processed by the Priest Piotr Skarga Christian Culture Association with its seat at ul. Augustiańska 28, 31-064 Kraków, Poland (the controller of personal data), hereinafter referred to as the “Association”, for the following purposes: a) to take action before the order and to execute the order and to support the campaign (art. 6 para. 1 letter b and c GDPR); b) to maintain regular contact with you in relation to the Association’s statutory objectives, in particular by informing you about meetings, campaigns and social actions organised by the Association, as well as about the opportunities to support the Association’s activities, and to enable you to participate in them (art. 6 para. 1 letter f GDPR); c) as a matter of cooperation with organisations having similar statutory objectives, by transferring your personal data to these entities, in particular to the Association “POLONIA CHRISTIANA” with its seat in Kraków, ul. Skawińska 13 lok. 13, 31-066 Kraków, Poland (art. 6 para. 1 letter f GDPR); d) for archiving purposes, when this is necessary to safeguard information in the event of a legal need to prove the facts of the contact for the possible establishment, investigation or defence of claims (art. 6 para. 1 letter f GDPR).The processing of personal data for the purposes indicated under letters b), c) and d) is carried out on the basis of a legitimate interest.
The provision of personal data is voluntary, however, without the provision of such data, the Association will not be able to fulfil the aforementioned purposes. You have several rights under data protection law in relation to how we use your personal information. You have the right to request access to and rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing and to object to processing as well as the right to data portability and to receive the copy of your data. If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please submit a request to the address of the Priest Piotr Skarga Christian Culture Association with its seat at ul. Augustiańska 28, 31-064 Kraków, Poland, marked “Data Protection Supervisor” or contact us at iod@piotrskarga.pl. You have the right to lodge a complaint with an appropriate supervisory authority if you have concerns about how we process your personal data. Your personal data may be accessed by entities providing services to the Association, in particular hosting, IT, shipping, as well as by persons authorised by the Association (e.g. employees). We may share your personal information with other organisations with similar statutory objectives. The personal data provided may be processed by automated decision-makings, including profiling. However, decisions concerning a specific person related to this processing will not be automated. We will retain your personal information as needed to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected. Your personal data will be retained for the duration of the Association’s statutory activities in relation to the purposes for which they are processed, but for no longer than the period of limitations for claims for breaches of data protection legislation in case of receipt of an objection to the processing from you.
